The Mountain Life

_MPC1369-Edit

The past few days I got to go back to the Ozarks and visit family and friends. It was great to see Gretar Robertson again and sit around the fire with him and everyone else.  These folks are keeping it real every day. Living life with the bare minimum and loving it.

  1. Outstanding photograph. It speaks of hard work and hours in the sun. Of getting by with little. There’s a calmness and a knowing that shows in this image, something that comes with surviving and thriving through a harder life than most. A self-belief that can be seen in the shoulders and the eyes, of a man who has survived and thrived through a harder life than most, self-sufficienct in a world that is so very dependant.
