Only What I Need

In a life full of luxury and convenience it seems like we’re always coming up with new ways to make something faster, easier, or simpler. If time invested is a measure of value how are we adding value to anything by reducing the effort required to achieve it?

Doing things the hard way is a great way to sharpen your skills. Taking an easier road won’t make anyone better at anything. Without overcoming challenges and adversity I’ll never sharpen my skills or think of how to do things in other ways.

Give me all the adversity without it I’ll never improve.
